Resources for conducting a new owners seminar

The U.S. Trotting Association has prepared materials to help take industry-related firms and groups through the process of preparing for and conducting a seminar. They include:

“A Winning Combination: You and Harness Racing”
Copies of this colorful and information-filled booklet are available by contacting the USTA at 877.800.USTA (8782), ext. 2, or by e-mail at owners@ustrotting.com. A complimentary copy may be downloaded here.

“How to Conduct a Seminar for Prospective Racehorse Owners”
As its title suggests, this is a start-to-finish blueprint that tell you how to promote a seminar, what speakers to invite, how to encourage questions from participants, and a suggested schedule of events. A complimentary copy may be downloaded here.

“A Winning Presentation”
We have a pdf-based slideshow presentation you can download which you can incorporate into your presentation by using a computer and video projector (simply open the .pdf and press “Page Down” on your PC to step through the “slides.” In addition, we have a Microsoft PowerPoint© version of the same presentation which you can obtain by calling John Pawlak at the USTA, at 877.800.USTA (8782), ext. 3260 or ext. 3229, respectively.)
